as saying: “It is no longermandatory
to reserve 30%units for bumiputeras
in all cities and townships. The quota
couldbe as high as 50%inLenggong
andCentral Perak, which is high in
bumiputera population, and as lowas
10%in areas highwithChinese
population like inKampar and Ipoh.”
He added that a report has been
submitted to thePerak executive
council for it tomake a decisionon
the quota imposed for newprojects.

50%release on any unsold

that is, up to the roofing stage,
the balance 50% immediately
upon attaining theCFO/CCC.
The sub-condition that the
balance 50%release uponCFO/
CCC is conditional upon all non-
bumiputera lots being 100%sold
which shall be interpreted to
exclude any undesirable lots.
The bumiputera reserved lots
shall be endorsed on title andnot
as a “restriction of interest in
title”. Bumiputera reserved lots
that are sold to bumiputeras can
only be re-sold to bumiputeras
thereafter.
